CATERING
Do you require a minimum number of guests?
No, we have no limitations on your group size.
Is your food made on premise?
Yes, all of our food is created in our Kitchen and Bakery in Mount Kisco with the freshest and finest ingredients available.
How do we book a party or event?
We ask that you first fill out our catering request form found on our “Contact Us” page or call us at (914) 864-2107 so we can schedule an initial phone consultation to discuss all of your event details. Any parties with more than 50 quests will have a prepared proposal that spells out all the details and can be faxed, mailed or e-mailed to you. When everything is agreed upon, submit your signed proposal with your check for the $500 non-refundable deposit to reserve our services for the date of your event and the party is booked.
How much will a party or event cost?
Prices are figured on an individual basis.
Where can I have my party?
Parties may be held at any location of your choosing. If you can dream of a location we can probably cater there.
Do you cater weddings?
Yes, Jennifer’s Kitchen & Catering is happy to put together beautiful weddings including wedding cakes.
Do you offer a children’s menu?
Yes , Jennifer’s Kitchen & Catering has been pleasing the palates of youngsters for many years now! Examples of these crowd-pleasers are mini pizzas, chicken fingers, pb&j, mozzarella sticks, quesadillas and macaroni & cheese.
Do you provide serving staff & rentals?
Jennifer’s Kitchen & Catering can recommend a professional staff of waiters, chefs and bartenders. They are separate from Jennifer’s Kitchen & Catering. Rentals are easily available.
What are the payment terms?
We accept payments made with cash, check, VISA, MasterCard, or American Express. A non-refundable deposit of $500 is required to reserve our services for the date of your event. A 50% deposit is required one month prior to the event, and the remaining balance is due the day of the event.
What is the cancellation policy?
24-hour notice is required to cancel any event. Events for over 50 people require a 48 hours advance notice. All deposits are non-refundable.
What if it rains for an outdoor event?
For outdoor events we suggest holding your event where you will have access to shelter or rent a tent. The party will go ahead as planned. We can accept a postponement at no expense with 48 hours notice. Less than that will incur a varying percentage fee based on what we have already purchased and will spoil.
BAKERY
Are your breads baked fresh daily?
Absolutely. We start early to have the fresh out of the oven bread available but we do have to mention that it goes fast out the door.
What types of cakes do you make?
We make a large assortment of cakes that are available on a daily basis including: Black & White, Boston, Cannoli, Carrot, Chocolate Mousse, Drizzle, Irish Mousse, Oreo Crunch, Seven Layer, Shadow, Tilted, Tiramisu & more. We make sheet cakes for all occasions and of course wedding cakes of all sizes.
Can you buy a slice of a cake?
Yes, some cakes are available by the slice. Cake selection varies from day to day.
How much advanced notice do you need for a special cake order?
We ask for three days advanced notice for all special cake orders. A 50% non-refundable deposit is required when placing the order.
Can you customize shapes or sizes on a cake?
Yes we can. We can customize most cakes for logos and other specifics items or events.
Do you do children’s character cakes?
Yes, we have a very large book of characters available for children’s birthday cakes. Advanced notice ordering is required to ensure availability of character for the cake.
Do you make cookie platters? How about mini Italian pastry platters?
Yes, we easily do both of them. Cookies platters and mini Italian pastry platters are very commonly ordered at our Bakery. Many of our customers love giving them as gifts especially in the corporate realm.
Do you do corporate gift ideas?
Yes we do work with companies to fill their needs in gifting. We also offer quantity discounts as well as local delivery service for any gift platter.
